Promotions: Upsells [promo_upsells] Module

This module adds "upsells" functionality.

Module Usage

Module adds Marketing > Upsell Promos section to admin panel.

There are two kind of upsell promotions you can create here:

Upgrade Promotion

Whenever customer goes to checkout with "Product" in their cart, he will be asked to replace it with "Replace With". By default, regular price of "Replace With" will be offered, but you can optionally set a custom price for customers that are going to upgrade.

Add-on Promotion

Whenever customer goes to checkout with "Product" in their cart, he will be asked to add "Add Product". By default, regular price of "Add Product" will be offered, but you can optionally set a custom price for customers using this promotion.

You can also set up a timeout for both types of promotions that can help customers make a decision by creating a sense of urgency. If you set a timeout to a non-zero value, promotion will be available only for given number of seconds after customer enters checkout for the first time.

Notes

When installed together with Product Bundles [pim_bundle] module, bundles will be automatically displayed as "Upgrade Promotions". Whenever customer adds a product that can be bought in a bundle he will be offered to upgrade to bundle in checkout.
