Promotions: Upsells [promo_upsells] Module

This module adds "upsells" functionality.

Module can be enabled in System > Configuration

Module Usage

Module adds Marketing > Upsell Promos section to admin panel.

In this section you create "upsell" promotions by selecting pairs of products. Whenever user goes to checkout with "From Product" in his cart, he will be asked to upgrade to "To Product". By default, regular price of "To Product" will be offered, but you can optionally set a custom price for users that are going to upgrade. You can also set up a timeout for this offer that can help clients make an upgrade by creating a sense of urgency.

Notes

When installed together with pim_bundle module, bundles will be automatically displayed as upsells. Whenever user adds a product that can be bought in a bundle he will be offered to upgrade to bundle in checkout.
