Product Bundles [pim_bundle] Module

This module adds bundle products. See bundle examples on our demo shop.

Module Configuration

Enable module in System > Configuration and rebuild application.

Module Usage

This module adds new type of products "Bundle Product". This type has "Products" field in which you can define what products belong to this bundle.

This new product has its own price and can have its own promotions etc. Product page will automaticly display how much customer is saving when buying those products in a bundle. It has its own description and images but those are optional as product page will shows details on all products in a bundle.

Behaviour of this product depends of contents. For example it will require delivery if one of products in a bundle requires delivery. If products in bundle have information on delivery those will be delivered in an order email.

Notes

If you use this module together with om_stock module, you can select "Use Members Stocks" for a stock of a Bundle product. With this selected, bundle products will not have their own stock, instead product will appear in stock if every product in a bundle is in stock and stocks of each product in a bundle is decremented on purchase.

When installed together with promo_upsells module, bundles will be automatically displayed as upsells. Whenever user adds a product that can be bought in a bundle he will be offered to upgrade to bundle in checkout.
